Why choose a villa holiday?
If this is your
first Villa Holiday then it will not be the last. There are lots of
advantages in renting a villa. You have independence, Home
Comforts and total freedom and loads of space. The villa has nearly
3000 Sq Ft of accommodation - 5 Double bedrooms & 4 Bathrooms
! No more
sharing rooms with the children to qualify for family discounts or
free child places and if some of you want an early night you can do
so. The 4 bathrooms mean that there is plenty of room for everyone
and no more queuing for the one and only shower! If you are a
seasoned Villa Holiday maker then you know what we mean and we know
you will enjoy our Villa as it is primarily designed for our own use
and not as a rental home only so loads of upgrades that we enjoy.
How do I reserve my preferred dates?
Contact us in the
first instance and as soon as you can . (see our contact page) and let us
know your dates. By telephone we will confirm there and then if the
dates are available, and reserve those dates for you.
Can I reserve my required dates in advance?
Yes. We are very
happy to take future bookings although flight details are not
usually released until approximately a year before departure. Most
of our guests book well in advance, enabling them to have first
choice of dates available and then book their flights at the
earliest opportunity as this is when the best deals can be had.
Quality villas like these are in heavy demand and its best to book
early. Our Repeat Guests book with us for their next holidays, soon
after their return from their holiday !
What is the procedure if I decide to book a holiday at your villa?
Firstly, confirm
with us that the dates you require are available. Following this you
need to pay a deposit to secure the dates (we accept debit/credit
cards) We then need a completed booking form which can be sorted by
Fax or post. You need do nothing more until eight weeks before
departure when the balance becomes due. We will then let you have
all you need including the directions to our villa along with any other
requirements. All you need to do then is your packing and look
forward to having a great holiday. If you decide at any time that
you would like to have any of the extras then just get in touch with us and we will make the necessary arrangements.
When will the villa be ready for me to check-in?
The villa is
professionally cleaned before each guest arrives and will be ready
from 4pm on the day of arrival. We also ask that the villa is
vacated by 10am on the day of departure. This is to enable the
Management Company to conduct a full clean and inventory check . We
try and accommodate our guests whenever we can with early arrivals
or late check outs. We do ask these to be pre arranged as they
depend on other bookings we may have in place.

Our management
company can arrange most items, at an extra charge, from Champagne
awaiting your arrival to Daily Cleaning to Maid Service or Cribs and push chairs.
How does the pool heating work?
The Pool/Jacuzzi
has an Natural Gas heater for those cooler weeks you may have around
December/January. What it does not do is heat the water to
bath-like temperatures. It is merely there to take off the chill
and is thermostatically controlled. Payment for pool heat at £150
($300) per week can be made prior
to departure or should the temperature drop
significantly whilst you are out there you can arrange with
us and pay us for the heat to be turned on whilst you are there.

Although there are
taxis and public transport it is advisable to hire a car as it will
give you much greater flexibility. The roads are well signposted.
The car hire companies all provide free road maps and the roads
themselves are wider and far less congested than we are used to at
home in the UK. You will need to be at least 21 years old to hire a
car with a valid UK driving licence. For more information on prices
and insurances etc please call us.

One of the great
advantages of our villa is the proximity to all the theme parks
whilst offering peace and tranquility. You will have very easy
access to Disney, the other attractions as well as the main routes to other parts of
Florida. The main gates to Disney are just 15
minutes away. The SR192 with all its restaurants and shops is just
ten minutes away. Championship golf courses only minutes away.

Who can help if
something goes wrong?
Our villa is looked after by our
Management Company. They are just a phone call away and will
organise everything from guest assistance to housekeeping and full
maintenance. They are on call 24hrs if necessary and will do
everything they can to help if you need them. We have also
provided a comprehensive booklet in the villa which covers
everything from how to operate the appliances to when the Bin men
come to the Villa.

What is the weather like?
Florida has a sub tropical climate
which means that the weather can be described as varying from very
warm in winter to very hot in summer. When you are planning your
trip you may want to consider the following seasonal variations.
Temperatures given in degrees Fahrenheit.
Spring (March - May)
High temperatures in the upper 80s.
Lows possibly in the 50s. Plenty of sunshine although spring
showers are common. You should be comfortable in swim-wear, shorts
and light clothing during the day and sweaters for the cooler
evenings.
Summer (June - September)
Daily temperatures can be in the
90s. Strong sunshine and average temperatures in the 70s. Late
afternoon thunderstorms possible, usually lasting only an hour.
Make the most of the water parks and visit other attractions early
to avoid the midday heat. Why not have a siesta at the villa and
return to the parks in the evening to enjoy extended summer opening
hours and the evening shows and fireworks. Remember to cover up
with a high factor sun screen especially in the water parks and
drink plenty of water. Try freezing a bottle of water to take with
you to drink as it melts.
Autumn (October - December)
Plenty of sunshine with highs in the
80s and lows around the 60s. Ideal weather for those who don't want
the extreme heat of the summer. You may need a light jacket in the
evenings. A Lovely time to go.
Winter (January - February)
Temperatures are cooler but can still
be in the 70s during the day with low temperatures in the evening
around the mid 50s. You will still need swim wear and light
clothing but take long sleeved jumpers or jackets for the cooler
evenings. NB. It is worth taking something to cover up with in
the evenings even in summer as the restaurants are all
air-conditioned and can seem very cool after a day in the sunshine.

What sort of clothing
should we take?
Florida is very casual and you will
not feel out of place wearing shorts and T shirts to go out for your
evening meal at many of the eateries. Of Course going out to dinner
is always a good excuse to dress up a little but you will not find
many occasions to wear a jacket and tie. Having said that, there
are plenty of up scale restaurants where a jacket and tie would be
the norm. Sensible shoes or trainers (sneakers) are a must for the
theme parks as there will be a lot of walking to do.
